NDBQ was established in 2000 as a joint venture between Cromdale Limited and Miller Developments.  The company has been responsible for over 400,000 sq ft (37,161 sq m) of Grade A office developments in Aberdeen. Cromdale became the sole shareholder in 2019.

The present focus for the companies activity is the city centre business district known as North Dee Business Quarter.  This is an established office location with excellent accessibility and amenities for employees and visitors. The company is actively considering mixed use options.
